Review: Down home Louisiana cooking meets Portland at this unassuming restaurant away from the glitz and glamour of downtown dining. Catch is flown in directly from the Gulf and you can taste the difference at Acadia. It’s the only place in the city to grab upscale Creole cooking – but crowds at this restaurant are drawn more to chef Adam Higgs excellent creations than the type of cuisine.

Monday nights and Wednesday lunches are especially popular weekday meals, due to a cheap eats menu and the only time of the week you’re able to grab Acadia’s food mid-day.
