What is it: Eat-and-drink fund raiser for Ecotrust Food and Farms

Info: For the price of dinner at one of the restaurants, sample the offerings of dozens of Portland’s best dining establishments at the annual Autumn Graze. Regional, in season foods are used to create excellent dishes. Wineries and breweries are on hand to pour samples and bakeries provide excellent deserts and pastries for the next morning.

If you get a little tipsy from the wine and beer samples, stay away from the silent auction. Note – it closes an hour before the eating does! 2005 packages included gift certificates at various restaurants, getaway packages and winery tours, among other things.

The tastings, which occur throughout the building, are varied in size and ingredients. More vegetarian options would be nice, but you can’t please everybody. Make sure to take in the music of various bands as well.
