Review: If cheap, healthy fare is your thing, the Laughing Planet is the place to be. For less $8, you can get a burrito stuffed with healthy goodness like beans, spinach, edamame, and whatever else is fresh. Although people used to the portions at Chipotle and other burrito-as-big-as-your-head establishments may be surprised at the size, the addition of rice, sour cream and guacamole for under $2 will bulk your burrito right up.

Pay particular attention to the special of the week – the creative burritos will group together items you never considered. Not a burrito fan? No worries – Laughing Planet also offers salads and select entrees. Their drink list is also surprisingly extensive, with excellent smoothies at a great price ($3.25). The restaurant is decidedly vegetarian and vegan friendly, although meat eaters can also get their fix.

Although you order and pay in advance, meals are delivered right to your table. If they’re not too swamped, staff members will usually take drink orders for you too, so remember to drop a small tip in the collective jar.
