OSU power failures anger researchers
This isn’t Portland, per se, but it’s close enough…It’s hard to make claims of being a great research facility when you can’t even provide consistent power…
Note the technology mention with Poland…hmmm…Peru airfare might’ve been cheaper and given her more options instead of OSU!
Zoologists, botanists and plant pathologists at Oregon State University say the school’s rickety facilities are limiting their ability to conduct their research.
Polish native Magda Majewska said power outages in Cordley Hall cost her days of work on her fruit fly research.
”Everyone in Poland thinks the United States is the country of technology. But then we don’t have power for a whole day,” Majewska said.
