Portland in April

Spring, glorious spring! After months of grey and rain, April finally brings us beautiful blooming surroundings — making the two to three more months of grey and rain much more tolerable. With the end of cherry blossom season here (well depending on the year), April is a great time to get back outside and enjoy all the spring colors.

So here’s what you need to know about being in Portland in April, from what the weather is like to events and things to do.

WEATHER

April in Portland is a return to the coveted highs of 60 degree weather. With average lows in the low 40s and highs in the low 60s, it’s also the beginning of phasing out some of the rainfall and by the end of the month we’re in 14 hours of daylight season again. Is it summer yet?
